If you’re interested in hiring me to photograph your Boulder wedding or elopement, please know that I swore off photographing large, elaborate events many years ago. But I still love relaxed, intimate elopements, micro weddings (under 40 guests), and nuptials, especially if they’re local to Boulder or the immediate surrounding area. Boulder, Colorado: 25 Square Miles Surrounded by Reality
Some say Boulder is a bubble. That it’s 25 square miles surrounded by reality. And while there are certainly things about my hometown that could be improved, I count myself fortunate to live in a place with such iconic natural beauty and varied scenery. From the world famous Chautauqua Park and Flatirons to the Boulder Reservoir to the seemingly endless open spaces and nature trails across Boulder County (not to mention some secret locations I keep on the down low ;), there is no question that Boulder and Boulder County offer amazing backdrops for family photos, senior pictures, boudoir shoots, lifestyle branding sessions and headshots.
All that said, please don’t sleep on an intimate, in home session or simple backyard shoot that allows me to capture your family’s essence and truth in a simple yet truly memorable and beautiful way. The breathtaking backdrops that Boulder offers are great, but what matters most are the humans in front of my camera – you and your loved ones – and sometimes an at home session is truly perfection.
